Studi Tanatologici

Studi Tanatologici, published by the A. Fabretti Foundation, is the only scholarly journal in Italy devoted to death and dying.

Thanatology brings together multiple fields of knowledge, serving as a meeting point for disciplines such as history, anthropology, sociology, medicine, psychology, and many others. Our journal is therefore interdisciplinary and welcomes contributions from Italy and abroad.

Studies and Research, the journal’s main section, features original, previously unpublished research in thanatology and is peer-reviewed.

The Reflections section features opinion pieces characterised by stylistic and conceptual flexibility and is not peer-reviewed.
